Sun!

The weather was beautiful this weekend so we hit the park both days. After a long, cold, rainy winter we soaked up every minute of sun we had. And yes, the last blog post was just one week ago.

Snow!

We got quite a bit of snow this weekend, at least by Atlanta standards. It only stuck around for about 24 hours--just long enough to take advantage of the photo op. Here are some pictures of our little snow bunny.







There's only so much a 6-month old can do in the snow, so for the most part we watched it from inside.


And here's our little girl sitting up on her own. We're not sure how long she's been able to do this...we just sat her up the other day and she stayed put.

By the way, she does smile, but turns very serious as soon as we whip out the camera. We'll keep trying...

We're back

Sorry for the lull in postings, but our camera was not working the past few weeks. We've missed a lot of photo ops, as Greta seems to be doing something new every day now. Here's a quick recap.

Christmas!

Greta's first Christmas came and went in a whirlwind. We spent the holidays in NY with Chris's family and had a wonderful time. Greta met lots of relatives and had a particularly good time playing with cousin Alice. Here are a few pictures to recap (more to come).

Here are some recent pictures of Greta. She becomes more entertaining every day and has grown so much. She had her 4-month check up last week and the doctor praised what he called her "robust growth curve." Nice way of putting it.

We (hesitantly) acquired our first large toy-like plastic contraption last weekend from a neighbor. Greta loves it, of course.

Thanksgiving

We had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving both Thursday and Friday with family. Needless to say, we have a lot to be thankful for this year.

I thought we had taken a lot of good pictures, but after throwing out the bad ones these are all we came up with. There is no shortage of Greta closeups these days.
